I'm Comin' Home!

The beginning of June, that is. Or in 16 weeks-whatever sounds better to you. (In case you were wondering, 16 weeks sounds better to me). I finally put in my notice, so my contract will end June 1st, and I will be heading home shortly after that. It feels really good to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and know that I can legitimately look forward to and think about going home. There are so many people and things I miss from home- and it's crazy to think that soon I will be back in the real world. It will be up to you to tell me about and break me from all of the weird habits that I've developed over the past year or so over here. (Thank you already, Jess- and sorry again about the "perhaps!" I love you man!)

It will definitely be bittersweet though. I've had the best 10 months of my life, and have made some incredible friends here (you know who you are!)- but hopefully, if things work out, then it won't be the last time I see them. For now, I'm just looking forward to my last 4 months here and making the most of each and every day! I get to go to Tokyo in 2 weeks and I will travel to Hong Kong at the end of April for 12 days- I can't wait!

And I'm sooo excited for Mary and Krystal to come and visit me in 3 days!!!!

Thailand pics

Hey everyone- I made it back to Japan after 12 amazing days in Thailand. It was so beautiful there, I didn't want to leave! The people were sooo nice, the food was damn spicy, but good, the beaches were gorgeous, and everything was sooo cheap! Bangkok was such a cool city too- so many different things to do. I will definitely be going back to Thailand someday, hopefully sooner than later.

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!
